Lake Holbrook’s normal water clarity is moderately clear with fluctuation 2-4 ft. annually. Submerged vegetation is scarce but the TPWD have successfully introduced other vegetation. The department has also worked with local organizations to create fish habitat structures in this lake. There is limited natural cover on the lake, a few boat houses, brush piles and some flooded timber. Largemouth bass are rated excellent, crappie and sunfish good, catfish fair.
