Lake Arlington’s water clarity is stained with water fluctuation 12 ft. annually. Largemouth bass rule the day for popularity on Lake Arlington, but white bass, white crappie and channel catfish are popular. There is limited cover and structure. There are some stump fields and areas of water willow and button bush. The hot water discharge area near the tailrace is popular at certain times of the year. Hybrid striped bass offer nice catches, however the TBWD no longer stocks this species annually, as they once did.
