Lady Bird (formerly Town Lake)

Lady Bird’s normal water clarity is clear to slightly stained with fluctuation stable. Laydown logs and trees on the banks makes up most of the cover. There is adequate shore vegetation with some submerged near the dam on offshore humps. Other weedbeds are in the upper end, with Barton Creek spring fed and warmer in the winter. Largemouth bass are rated excellent, sunfish good, catfish poor.
