Ink Lake’s normal water clarity is clear to slightly stained with fluctuation 1 ft. annually. The lakes’s waters contain no significant aquatic vegetation. Largemouth bass and sunfish are rated good, catfish, white bass and striped bass fair, crappie poor. Brush piles and gravel beds have been planted near fishing piers and at other strategic locations. Boat docks on the west side of the lake can be good. Numerous rock piles, ledges and chunk rock banks define the shoreline.
