Choke Canyon Reservoir

Choke Canyon Reservoir’s normal water clarity is clear to slightly stained with fluctuation high, 10-15 ft. annually. The lake’s habitat includes steep rocky banks, flooded timber, shallow brush flats, submerged humps and roadbeds, long sloping points extending to deeper water, numerous islands and creek channels. Isolated beds of emergent vegetation. Largemouth bass and catfish are rated excellent with crappie, white bass and sunfish rated good.
