Caddo Lake’s water clarity is moderately clear to stained with fluctuation of 4-8 ft. annually. About 60% of the lake is covered with native and non-native aquatic vegetation. This shallow-water lake is inundated with bald cypress trees. Many fishing piers and duck blinds provide additional cover. Largemouth bass, crappie, white bass, and sunfish are rated excellent, catfish and chain pickerel good, spotted bass fair.
